The Escoda Series 8155 is known a Pipe Over-grainer in the decorative industry and features extra length of brush hair and a flat matt varnished handle. The longer brush hair imparts a lightness of touch and is used to blend out areas of colour. When loaded with thinned colour it can also be useful to apply expressive and evocative brush marks. Length of bristle varies between 90 to 98mm.

Made of superior Chungking hog bristle, this brush is traditionally used in oil painting and is of the highest quality.
